OUR STORY
On June 6, 2010, Pastor Roderick Richardson and Minister Tyronda Richardson’s God-given vision became a reality. The Word Center opened its doors in the Callaway High School auditorium with over 100 guests in attendance. At The Word Center heartfelt love is prevalent and exudes in a major way.
The Word Center has been a major part of the Community through various outreach projects from gas, water and backpack full of school supplies giveaways to answering the call to feeding the homeless population. After thirteen years of impactful ministry Pastor Rich announced his retirement in January 2023, and that Pastor Marlon would be his successor.
December 3, 2023 Pastor Marlon was installed as Lead Pastor of The Word Center where he strives to continue the amazing legacy of The Word Center
